Changing strings on these is not fun so I wanted the longest lasting strings I could find and these are it. They are easily worth the extra money and sound great. They last about twice as long as the Elixirs which last twice as long as the other coated strings. Their customer service is great as well; When I told them I preferred .009 for the high G instead of the .010s, they sent me a dozen .009s. You can't beat that! I won't buy anything else for my 12s.
