D'Addario EFT Flat Top Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Stringsstar rating 5DavidNovember 11, 2010I am primarily an electric player, but I love my handmade Louden. I use the Lites and I enjoy the nice tonal range without being to bright. They record really well too. My guitar is doe not have a pick up in it, so I rely on a mic or live.
D'Addario EFT Flat Top Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Stringsstar rating 4Craig FrenchNovember 3, 2010I really like these strings. I installed a set on an old '32 National Style O resonator guitar(single cone/brass body), and they worked quite well. Nice and quiet when my fingers slide along them. They're very warm sounding, which may or may not be what you're looking for. Don't use them if you're looking for a really bright sound. I like to use the Low E and A strings on my guitar, combined with plain steel strings on the higher 4 strings when playing slide blues. That way I retain a nice "no squeak" bass sound on the lower 2 strings, and a zingy bright slide tone on the other strings. They're rarely stocked at most music stores, which is why I end up buying them online. Keep them clean, and they should last a good long time. Try a set out.
