Also at first I didn't like the sound of them, they seemed to dull the tone, I left them on and now I am used to them ....they do look cool though ;)
DR "EXTRA" Life Black Beauties Coated Electric Guitar Strings 9-42star rating 3Kirk ButlerJuly 12, 2010These strings definitely look awesome, but the blue coating quickly wears away quickly if you use a pick (this doesn't seem to affect sound, but it looks a bit tacky). After a few days of use my B string also snapped during a bend. It's possible that I may have had a bad set, but it makes me weary on purchasing them again
