Dean Markley 2676 Blue Steel Bass Guitar 4 Strings Mediumstar rating 5Matthijs SmitsApril 13, 2010I really like these strings, I've played lots of other brands like DR, Rotosound, Pyramid etc. The only strings that came close to the sound of the Blue Steels were a Pyramid Rock set. These strings are very responsive, it felt like they increased the sustain on my bass, I get a very gutsy sound out of these strings. Strings are always a very personal thing, but I would recommend any player into rock/metal to try these strings out.
