Dean Markley Super V Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Stringsstar rating 5Glenn VanishNovember 27, 2010I must say that these strings by dean markley sound quite good on my fender stratocaster and have some sustain in it as well and I am thinking it could be the alloy combined with the nickel steel that is used in making these. I could imagine how these strings sound if I had some effect pedals handy but will get myself some one day because these strings sound pretty good. 9's is usually the size strings I use but I guess the regular size of these particular strings would sound even more good.
