Martin FX130 Flexible Core Silk and Phosphor Acoustic Guitar Strings

Martin FX130 Flexible Core Silk and Phosphor Acoustic Guitar Stringsstar rating 5FrankFebruary 7, 2012I love these strings! I use them for all of my guitars because they bring out the best in them. I especially like the way my Masterbilt EF500RAS and my Breedlove come to life and sound so high end! Best strings I've ever used!
Martin FX130 Flexible Core Silk and Phosphor Acoustic Guitar Stringsstar rating 5DavidSeptember 12, 2011I play rhythm at chuch. These FX130 strings are warm with lots of sustain. They seem to be holding up to my strumming better than "normal" phosphor bronze strings, possibly due to the flexible core. They also sound great fingerstyle. I like them so much I just ordered another batch from Strings and Beyond. Great strings at a great price!
Martin FX130 Flexible Core Silk and Phosphor Acoustic Guitar Stringsstar rating 5gjMarch 6, 2011Martin FX Silk and Phosphor Strings are true to the manufacturer’s description: (i) a sweet and melodic (ii) with remarkable playability at any fret position (iii) increased durability (iv) stay in tune and play longer (v) reduces finger fatigue and (vi) permits quicker transitions from string to string. In my case, the transition is from Nylon to Steel and I am exceedingly pleased with how comfortably these strings allow me to shift from classical/flamenco guitar to finger-picking on my new Huss & Dalton 00 SP
Martin FX130 Flexible Core Silk and Phosphor Acoustic Guitar Stringsstar rating 5KimMay 3, 2010I put these on a hog 00 and they really sound terrific. The balance and warmness make these strings really great and the 80/20 phosphor bronze lights that they replaced really didn't make the guitar sound near as nice as this. I had heard these silk and steels were great strings on smaller bodies guitars and I would recommend anyone trying them. Nice clean sustain.
