But for once, time was my friend, and the tone began to get mellow. They have now been on for 5 days and couldn't sound better (tuned to standard E.) Hold up well w/out buzz in drop D, and that low octave set is a find foundation for the sound. Just the exact combination of warm/bright that I've been unable to find with Daads of every type. Don't know how the medium-light will sound, but have no reason to try them. at this point.
