It really depends on the sound you want from your guitar but it really adds a whole new dimension to the way my guitar sounds. I was suprised at how much the composit strings stretched. They seem to take even longer to settle in than standard mono strings. Time will tell how they hold up and if they are worth the extra $$ over the Daddario Pro Arte I have been using but for now I am liking the sound.
