Savarez 520 P1 Red Traditional Classical Guitar Strings - Plastic Wound Treblesstar rating 3JustinDecember 11, 2010Tried these strings out just for the novelty of it. The strings had a bright sound, almost like a steel string acoustic. They were bright, yet they lacked the bell like clarity that classical guitar trebles usually have. The string chatter noise when going up and down the fretboard was considerable, especially since there is none on traditional trebles. The 3rd string (G) was so large in diameter that it barely fit through the bridge hole, it required needle nose pliers to push it through. The strings come into tune quickly, however the high E was under considerable tension. I know they are high tension strings, but it seemed like it could pop at any minute. Some people may like these strings, but in my opinion they need some more refinement before I would consider playing on them
