It doesn't clamp using a spring, so it's easy to put on, especially once you have it set for your neck. It's not that particular; I go back and forth between my electric and acoustic with no problems. Because you can adjust the tension, it will work with necks of any thickness. And you can set it to apply only enough pressure to press the strings down to the frets, instead of squeezing them for dear life, as with the spring-loaded styles. It presses straight down on the strings, with even pressure across all of them, so it doesn't bend any of them out of tune. I doubt you'll ever go back to anything else.
