Compared to other flat wounds, these strings have a nice lively upper end with strong mids, and huge lows without resorting to bridge cable tension and feel. I have had these on my Bongo 6 and P Bass V for over eight months now and I am digging the sound more and more with each passing day. Unlike some other online string suppliers who sell just strings, Strings and Beyond are great folks to deal with and feature quick delivery and terrific service without any BS or excuses.
