Thomastik-Infeld Plectrum Bronze Acoustic Guitar Stringsstar rating 5Jammin' JeffSeptember 28, 2010Great strings. They brought my little travel guitar to life, so I tried them on the Jumbo. Suprisingly, they work well on it too. Great for beginners for ease of play, to more complicated acoustic leads, as they are stretchy. Hold their tune as well as a set of DiAddarois. Middle flat wounds are great for slide. And Oh yeah, with a nice shiny bronze coating, they last long, and really make the guitar look great. If your selling on eBay. take pictures with a set of these on.. Just love em'.
Thomastik-Infeld Plectrum Bronze Acoustic Guitar Stringsstar rating 5FernandMarch 30, 2010These are unique, like their flatwound bass strings. The timbre is complex, as bright as a bronze, but richer. The ac110 set is the lowest tension I have ever played on an acoustic, and includes bronze plated steel 0.010" E and B then brass flatwound g and a and bronze polished roundwound E, an 0.041" ! But imagine putting this on a short 22" scale like a Taylor Baby or Luna muse safari or little Martin and still have it make a rich sound ?! If you like superslinky electric guitar yet want a rich bronze or brass acoustic timbre for fingerpicking, it was impossible until these Plectrums came along. The AC111 0.011" set is what I'm debating for my Martin D-018 that seems to say "I will not cooperate until your fingers are strong enough to play blues on rebar." We'll see about that, I don't like playing on rebar and eggslicers, AC110 might be just the ticket, with the D-018 boom they will Even be loud enough!
