Thomastik-Infeld Swing Series Acoustic/Electric Jazz Guitar Stringsstar rating 5Brian H.January 11, 2011I can't say how many different types of strings I've used. I've gotten really good sets before. The Thomastik-Infeld are my no compromise strings. I get exactly the tone and feel that I like out of these strings. I use both the "Swing" and the "Be Bop" sets. Both are great.

Thomastik-Infeld Swing Series Acoustic/Electric Jazz Guitar Stringsstar rating 5Scott MMarch 2, 2010As a professional solo jazz guitarist for over 20 years, these are the only strings I will use. The tone is always great; never too bright like some other flat would strings tend to be. The cost is a little higher than other brands, but the longevity and tone of these babies more than makes up for the higher cost; you get what you pay for.
Thomastik-Infeld Swing Series Acoustic/Electric Jazz Guitar Stringsstar rating 5Barry KFebruary 27, 2010I am using these on a "prototype" Archtop, nothing special. I am running the 12-53 set. They feel great and they sound great; really warm, round and clear. And they last! Please note: I am not a professional, I just "play" at home for me ... I am just learning and have a long way to go. However: These strings are the bomb.
Thomastik-Infeld Swing Series Acoustic/Electric Jazz Guitar Stringsstar rating 5jamesFebruary 14, 2010I played D a darrio chromes and D aquisto flat wound jazz strings also but These are superior in longevity, sound, and feel.... I especially like the silk wrap at the ends because it keeps the string from buzzing on my frequensator tail piece... they cost a little more but you can tell the difference...
